glittering water
underneath a shining sky
smelling summer air.
this is the first hiku I ever wrote! I was in the fifth grade, and we had a poetry unit. Incase you didn't know a hiku is a poem that is usually three lines long. the first and last line are five syllables and the middle line has seven. these poems are also generally about nature.
