Hello!
My name is Kylie. I am taking part in a class called critical thinking at my high school. The students are required to pick a topic they want to study. I have chosen poetry. I will come up with a theme to write my poetry about. Also will be posting random poetry that I write in my free time. I will read poetry and analyze it. Hopefully I will be able to incorporate there ways of writing into my own to make my work better.
My teachers also are having us incorporate our family history into our topics. So, what I am going to do is write a poem for individual family members that reflect my feelings towards them.

You may want to do some explanation of why you're choosing these topics or evaluating your own work. I'd also recommend reading some famous poets and explaining what you admire about their work and actually attempt to replicate their effects with your own material. Overall, you need more explanation/analysis of your work and others. Mrs. S
