Awakening

One time I lost myself.

I didn't trust anyone else.

I thought the world was out to break me,

that the lord was soon to take me.

But then you walked by.

You showed me my thoughts-

were just a lie.

You showed me how to survive.

You taught me to live my life.

You have started me,

You have started my awakening.

I was on a road towards destruction.

I couldn't see my own perfection.

I felt the darkness creeping closer.

heard the devil say let me have her.
